David is a nationally certified Physician Assistant and Registered Dietitian specializing in gastroenterology. A personal journey of Ulcerative Colitis initially led him down the path of his medical education and gives him a deep understanding of what it is to be a patient with a chronic gastrointestinal illness. He completed his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Grand Valley State University in Michigan and his nutrition training at the University of Nevada, Reno. Before discovering a passion for medicine, he received a degree in management from Saint Louis University. He joined the SIG team in 2021.
As a physician assistant, David works closely with the gastroenterologists in the office and hospital setting in evaluation and treatment of many gastrointestinal conditions. He is available for new patient appointments, follow up visits for established patients and for appointments specifically to discuss nutrition and GI health. He is also on staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
David is a Saint Louis native who spent a decade away only to return with his family including two young boys. He plays hockey and spends as much time as possible with his family and outdoors.
