Dr. Weinstock is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine and has a very active clinical practice. He is a gastroenterologist on staff at Barnes-Jewish, Barnes-Jewish West County and Missouri Baptist Hospitals in St. Louis, Missouri and is involved in clinical research and teaching. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Weinstock has given many lectures and his research has been presented at national conferences on diseases of the stomach, intestine, bile duct, pancreas and colon. Dr. Weinstock is interested in all patients with gastrointestinal disorders and in preventative medicine. His practice emphasizes colon cancer screening, advanced therapeutic endoscopy, new approaches to IBS therapy especially bacterial overgrowth in the small intetestine, research in restless leg syndrome and its relationship to gastrointestinal diseases including celiac disease, and up-to-date management of inflammatory bowel disease.
