 Dr. Thyssen
joined Specialists in Gastroenterology in 1993 after finishing fellowship
training at Washington University in St. Louis and Internal Medicine residency
training at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He is a graduate of the
Medical School of Copenhagen in Denmark. Dr. Thyssen is Board Certified
in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is active in teaching and
has an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and
Surgery with the Washington University School of Medicine. He is a gastroenterologist
on staff at Barnes-Jewish, Barnes-Jewish West County and Missouri Baptist
Hospitals in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Thyssen provides individualized
care for adult patients with a wide variety of ailments affecting the
digestive system.
