Office Policies:
Appointments New patients should fill out patient
forms ahead of time if possible and please bring a copy of their insurance
card and drivers license for the visit. Whenever possible, old records should be faxed to our
office (314) 997-5086.
Cancellations
If unable to keep you appointment call 314-997-0554, please give 24
hour notice or you will be charged.
Copayments Insurance regulations require payment of
these encounter fees at the time of service.
Emergencies If you have a true medical emergency
you should call 911. If the problem is urgent, a telephone call to the
physician with that statement is best so that the appropriate triage can
be performed.
Insurance and Referrals Please obtain HMO referrals
well in advance of the appointment.
We will file insurance claims for you for our
services.
Prescription Refills Please call or have the
pharmacist call before 2:00 PM for routine refills.
Telephone Calls Routine telephone calls should be
made between 9:00 AM and 4:45 PM Monday through Friday. Emergency
telephone calls after office hours should be directed to the exchange
(314) 388-6578. True medical emergencies that can not wait should prompt a
911 call. Return telephone calls by physicians will be made throughout the
course of the day – please tell us how long you will be at your telephone
number and how urgent the problem is. We perform endoscopic procedures
most mornings and return calls in between cases or at the end of the work
day for elective calls.
